Orang National Park
About Park: Orang Wild Life Sanctuary, situated on the north bank of river Brahamaputra near Tezpur in Assam, is spread over an area of about 78.81 sq kms and is home to great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, elephant, leopard, sambar deer, barking deer, tiger and varieties of water birds, green pigeon, florican, teal and geese. It is said to be a minature of the Kaziranga National Park. It was established as a sanctuary in 1985 and as a National Park in 13th April 1999.
