Corbett National Park

Location: Corbett National Park, established in 1936 with the name Hailey National Park and renamed as Ramganga National Park in 1952, got its name in 1957 after Jim Corbett, the famous naturalist and photographer. This is India s first national park and beyond doubt the most attractive Park in India. Flora In Jim Corbett Park The varied topography comprises hilly and riverine areas, temporary marshy depressions, plateaus and ravines. The lower areas are almost completely populated by Sal trees. In the Jim Corbett National Park are found 110 tree species, 50 mammals species, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species.
